About BestChargers
Independent advice for UK EV drivers, with no paid placements and no sponsored rankings.
BestChargers.co.uk is an independent comparison and review site for home EV chargers, overnight electricity tariffs, and OZEV-approved installers across the UK. We research and editorially review every product we feature, comparing published specifications, features, and pricing side by side. No manufacturer pays to appear in our rankings, and no review score is ever influenced by a commercial relationship.
Our installer directory connects EV drivers with vetted, OZEV-approved charge point installation engineers. Every installer listed on our platform holds the required qualifications under the OZEV Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme, giving you confidence that installation work will meet UK standards and that you can claim any applicable government grant.
We are funded through affiliate commissions when readers click through to purchase a charger or switch to a tariff we recommend. This never affects our editorial judgement: our recommendations are based entirely on independent comparison of published specifications, features, value, and reliability records. Our full disclosure is available in our affiliate policy.
