What a supplier listing means
Some EV tariffs let the energy supplier decide when your car charges, so it can use the cheapest or greenest times. To do that, the supplier connects either to your car or to your charger. These lists show which chargers each supplier says it can connect to.
We check three lists: Octopus Energy for Intelligent Octopus Go, OVO Energy for Charge Anytime, and E.ON Next for Next Drive Smart. All three were checked on 4 October 2026. Suppliers add and remove chargers, so check the supplier's own list before you switch.
If your charger is not listed
Octopus and OVO can also connect through a compatible car instead of the charger, so a charger that is not listed may still work with those tariffs if your car is supported. Any charger with scheduling can also be set to charge in a fixed off-peak window on a time-of-use tariff.

On 4 October 2026, Octopus listed chargers from Andersen, Cord, Enphase, go-e, Hypervolt, Indra, myenergi, NexBlue, Ohme, Simpson & Partners, Sync Energy, VCHRGD, waEV-charge and Wallbox (Pulsar models). Octopus can also connect through some cars instead of the charger.
Which chargers work with OVO Charge Anytime?
On 4 October 2026, OVO listed Andersen, Hypervolt, Indra, myenergi, NexBlue, Cord and evec as compatible smart chargers. OVO says you only need either a compatible car or a compatible charger.
Which chargers work with E.ON Next Drive Smart?
On 4 October 2026, E.ON Next listed zappi, Hypervolt and Indra as supported chargers. Otherwise it connects through a compatible car.
