Tesla Model 3 Long Range RWD FAQs

How does the Model 3 Long Range RWD compare to the Standard Range on range?

The Long Range RWD is rated at 390 miles WLTP, versus 305 miles for the Standard Range, based on the figures in this specification. The larger 75kWh usable battery accounts for the difference. Real-world range will be lower for both, particularly in winter.

Does the Model 3 Long Range RWD support vehicle-to-load or vehicle-to-grid?

No. Like all current UK Teslas, the Long Range RWD does not support V2L, V2H, or V2G. If powering appliances or exporting to the grid matters to you, consider the Hyundai Ioniq 5 or Kia EV6, which include V2L as standard.

What is the charge time at a Supercharger?

Based on its 250kW maximum DC acceptance, the battery is expected to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 25 minutes at a compatible Supercharger. The Supercharger network has over 1,000 connectors across the UK.

Is the Long Range RWD a good choice as a company car?

Yes. The 4% BIK rate for 2026-27 makes it one of the most tax-efficient options at this price point. Over a typical three-year contract, the tax saving versus a petrol equivalent can offset a substantial portion of the price difference.
